What connections did you make about fats?

Will DD1 need her glasses all the time, or just for reading?

DD1 doesn't glasses for reading, just for distance. For playing outside, she probably doesn't need them. But for reading the chalkboard, it might be a good idea:)

re: fats: One of the thoughts I had was about meat and how meat used to be higher in Omega 3's, but when we switched to corn fed cattle, the Omega 3s in beef disappeared. Omega 3s are really important for not being depressed and/or aggressive. I think I need to listen to the show again and write down my thoughts while listening to it.

Well, not everyone who is lacking in Omega 3s is depressed, but your risk is higher.

Don't you take Cod Liver Oil? And I thought you ate grassfed beef? I'll have to give the show a listen. I add Flaxseed to my yogurt every day for the omega 3s.

I took the cod liver oil for a while, but haven't taken it for a while. I didn't notice a difference.

Yes, we do eat grassfed beef, and that was one of the connections I made.

They talked about flax oil. If I understood correctly, you can't absorb the Omega 3s in flax. Listen to it and tell me what you think!

Hm, interesting. I will today. As for the CLO, I noticed a difference in my mood, but only in winter. I think it was the vit. D, though, not the omega 3s.
