A very busy weekend

We had two social engagements yesterday which basically ate up the whole day.  It was good fun, but didn't leave much time for stuff around the house.

Today I was awakened at 8:30 by two giggling girls with paper bags.  They gave me presents they had made at school (a necklace and a picture frame with a picture of said child in it).  Then they went ( Read more... )

Sounds like a really busy day! Was it DD2's birthday yesterday? I can't believe she's FIVE now!! How did kindergarten registration go?

To the world you might just be one person, but to one person you might just be the world.

That was on the Mother's Day e-card both my mom and my aunt/uncle sent to me yesterday. It really is lovely. :)

DD2 will be five on Thursday. K registration went fine. We did it back in March:) We opened her presents early with my parents due to an impending trip to Ireland (them, not us:)).

It is a nice sentiment to spread around!

I butchered honeysuckle this weekend, too! It's only half out, so I have to finish, and I left a mess for the lawn guy to clean up today (hid in shame while he was working, but he hauled the stuff off, thank goodness.) I'm not looking forward to finishing, but I am looking forward to the job being done. I should have done it last year. :(

Sounds like a great day, aside from being in a mall on the weekend. I'd rather have a rash. :-)

Ooops, time to get Maggie out of the bath!

I'd rather be anywhere than a mall, but it wasn't too bad, all things considered.

It was a good weekend. Yay for getting rid of honeysuckle. I dragged mine over to my neighbor's brush pile which the town will pick up.
