Definitely not wimpy mommy, with all that!

And fyi, I remember my mother using gasoline to remove a tick when I got one on my head, in my hair, and therefore a match didn't seem a good plan.

I was at a friend's house and used a hemastat in the end that worked just fine. The tick wasn't in very far. Apparently soapy water applied on a cotton ball works too. LOL at the idea of the match and the gas though. Ugh. No, the match was not lit. I lit it and then blew it out.

I have got a very busy week this week. Today was just out of control though. Notice I didn't actually cook anything today though.

I found a fat tick on LVN's ear when he was a first grader (got it on a class nature walk) and OMG did I freak out, but it pulled off pretty easily and left nothing behind. *shudder*

Ew. I would have to say this was by far the least traumatic tick encounter I've had. It was small and not on me and there was only one and it was not very far in so it came out quite easily.

I will not tell you about the experience I had with the family dog.

Wow - kindergarten orientation!

How on earth did DD1 pick up a tick in your urban area?

I envy that you can plant seeds already.

Yeah. K already. I can't believe it. That's how I felt about Two last year too:)

I have no idea how DD1 got a tick. I actually got one a few years ago too. They are all over.

The forsythia is blooming!
