Glad you liked it. :) I was re-watching Jekyll a couple of weeks ago, and Claire's accusation that Tom had always been massively repressed got stuck in my head. In the week following that, I listened to TV On The Radio's song "Lover's Day" far too many times, which eventually spawned this particular plot bunny. The fact that no one else in smallfandomfest was showing Jekyll any love was as good as an excuse as any to write the fic so that it would stop pestering me. The scary part is that I have a whole bunch of bunnies for little "slice of life" Tom/Claire/Hyde ficlets, and this could actually work as a start to the series if I ever get the motivation to write the others.
