I've started learning how to use 3d modeling software. It's not as intimidating as I expected, but I probably would feel more comfortable with it if I'd taken the time to learn vector graphics

I don't, but I've been interested in it since elementary school, for making games and TV shows and stuff. Back then, only big companies could afford the computing power to do decent 3D. But now we have Autodesk Maya and Blender. Coop to hear you're learning to use Blender! Is it completely free, like I've heard?
I'm still just learning how to make shapes, but there are a lot of tutorials on YouTube and other sites. I think you might enjoy trying it out. Yes, Blender was free. I'm not sure how it compares to other software, since this is my first experience, but it has been working fine for me so far.
