At one time, I searched hard to find a way to put my interest in Bible history to use. Amen :) That's so true. It reminds me of a post I wrote a few years ago called The Everyday Adventure.

The advice that your parents and friends gave you sounds really good and very similar to the advice that I've received from my family and friends! Their support is such a blessing. I'm excited to see where God will lead us in the future!

I think we will never know the full value of ordinary days. To "do justice, love mercy, walk humbly with our God; or to rejoice always, pray without ceasing and give thanks in all things - there is power in that, and anytime, by God's grace, we manage to do it, that is miracle enough. The angels watch us, and who knows the full impact of a life lived to the glory of God, no matter how long or short, how famous or unrecognized that life may be.
