Logic class

Question: Have you ever taken a course in logic?

The only time that I've ever studied this was in Croatia. We had a class that studied term logic, boolean operators, and other topics. Thank you so much for your comments, Nathan. These are so thoughtful and encouraging.

How does anyone get to know anyone else by talking about the same things every day, by asking questions they don't really want the answer to and giving answers they don't really mean?
I've wondered the same thing :) I was very surprised when my counselor told me that many people enjoy small talk. Really? That was a paradigm shift for me.

I sit and think until I have something to say, but the conversation has moved on to another topic, and if I say it now, the conversation will lurch to a halt.
This is a familiar experience! Often, I participate by listening and reflecting the smiles or sorrows of those around me. I let the others carry on the current of conversation while I support it. If they're the crest of the ebbing wave, then I'm the blue hue of the water that follows in tow. I've learned to be happy in conversation even if I have few words to contribute. I can still contribute myself.
