I love that time of morning too. Getting up really early was always a pain, but I would often cheat and stay up all night just to be witness to the dawn. I don't think would be good to do that as often as I used to, but I don't regret those days I'd walk along 14th Street to meet the sun on the East River, as it peeked over Brooklyn.

Antennas before dawn--I think that is closer than you may realize! If that really is your dream, I hope you keep looking for ways to get there!

Those must have been amazing mornings. Did you ever try to capture a facet of those moments in photograph, prose, or poetry?

Yes, there is still hope for RGW :) Lobby can still send code like a pro!

Go Lobby!

I find poetry really intimidating, because good poetry moves me so much. For a while, I've wanted to learn more. A friend suggested an exercise to try--and I'd forgotten all about that! Thanks for reminding me.

I have a few photos from walks, but I left my Flickr Pro account expire, and can't get to them, since you only see something like the last 150 photos with a free account. I might want to renew just so I can retrieve them and put them in a safer place. Thanks for reminding me about too!

I did put a few up on Facebook, though:

I had a fascination with this kind of imagery, and I think I still do. I love when anime features shadows telephone poles, or any sort of stark, industrial shape, against vivid colors of sunsets and sunrises.
