Growing, always

Recently, I read over some emails that I had written during my days in college. I was surprised by the tone of them - they were full of zeal and friendliness, but they were very immature. I thought that I had left that trait behind in high school? My earliest livejournal posts are even worse. Even as of a few months ago, I see that raw tone of ( Read more... )

Thanks for your thoughts and advice, Dave! I appreciate it.

I do find it rather disappointing to think that people's ideas of maturity and appropriateness are so dull and limited, but at least there are some people around who don't mind living outside the box. I'm looking forward to exploring more in the future, but I plan to take things at a bit slower pace than I had been previously. Once I was free of my part-time job and only had one full-time job, I felt like a prisoner set free to leap about from hobby to hobby. I think I just exhausted myself in the process!

Tea sharing sounds great to me! :) I miss our tea outings in Gettysburg and those fun evenings of DDR and anime. I don't miss the Japanese language homework assignments, though!

My cold is better today, thanks. I'm still trying to take it slow. It's a great day for ordering in Chinese dumplings and things...

Hey, next time I see you we'll have to grab that Guinness and sweet potato fries.

I had to sneak a peek at your earliest entries. They are not so bad, but I'm sure you're squirming in your seat even thinking about them. I recently started backing up my old account. Reading those first few entries made me feel very... how you say... 9_9;;

Great! I will look forward to that.

Speaking of backing up lj, how are you going about it? I'd like to keep a backup of mine near at hand, but I'm not sure how to go about it.
