wow, it's so weird. i feel so lonely and my best friend has only been gone since sunday night! and she's only gone (on some band camp trip thingy) 'til tues and i miss her so much. it's only when someone's not there that you realise that the fact that a person bugs the hell out of you when they're here doesn't matter 'cause you love them and miss ( Read more... )

Have a great time at all the camps! I know what it's like to be away from your best friend, mine is an hour away! As for the long post, I do the same thing! Hee hee...you're doing well!

I've met some neat girls from London so far in Live Journal, and I love the English vocabulary. For instance, the word knackered is like my total favorite word right now. I'm so totally knackered myself, that I literally passed out yesterday from lack of sleep!

Anyway, I just thought I'd share that bit of information because I love changing my vocabulary around my American parents. It gets to them every time! Cheers! :-)

I haven't told you this yet...I live an hour north of houston tx! And what's weird is, I was in theatre in school, and had to learn the English accent for a play...I'm one of those people who can fool anyone into thinking I'm from London! It's really crazy!

Independence Day is going well here, thanks! The fireworks will be late tonight because of rain. Boo! I'll keep in touch off and on in my journal since I'll be busy the rest of the summer (all good things)!

Anyway, I'm rambling again! Here's to dialect in any language...my second language is French. :-)

lol, iit's okay.

yeah... my dad... i've only really been in contact with him for about eighteen months (him and my mum split up just after i was born, and then he decided he didn't want anything else to do with me) so we don't really have much in common, he really just is some random guy who gave me his genes in my eyes. i consider the guy who raised me (my mum's husband) to be my dad, so meetings with him are always very awkward. he also lies a lot ot my mum about the amount of texts he's sent me (not many), and stuff. oh, and he is the world's biggest flirt! he's married, but he still flirts with my mum so badly and is forever badmouthing his wife in front of her. it makes me really uncomfortable. so, yeah, meetings are always fun. luckily they're only like twice or three times a year.

my step-mum... meh, she's okay. she's controlling and doesn't really like me too much, but luckily i don't have to see her too often. but a baby is a baby and i'm a sucker for babies!
