I've heard of Casting Crowns, and think they are awesome. I haven't heard switchfoot yet...but plan to check them out as well. Thanks for sharing your upcoming plans, and I agree, exams are really hard core! All the best to you as you tackle them. :-)

casting crowns' new self-titled album is absolutely amazing, if you're into that sort of thing. most of my friends think i'm a bit weird, but i guess that music isn't for everyone. but, i dunno, some days it really keeps me going, so i like it. :]

switchfoot are so good! they're not as "in your face" as casting crowns; they have a more "mainstream" sound. you need to check out "the beautiful letdown" and "oh! gravity." albums in particular. i especially love "this is your life", "dare you to move", "4:12" and "american dream" (acoustic version).

lol, sorry, i'm a bit of a music geek. :] indie and christian (delirious? are also amazing) are my favourite genres, but i'm pretty much open to anything. :] i love recommending music to people and i also love getting recommendations. :]

bleugh, my life is actually pretty boring; it just helps me to order the chaos if i write it down somewhere, and since my handwriting is appalling, lj is perfect. :]

argh. i want the damn things to be oveeeer. thanks. :]

Your own VW Polo, fantastic! I always liked that car - if I was to get myself one, this would be on the top position :) I used to drive my dad's VW Passat and my cousin's VW Garbus (a new version) and they were both pleasant to drive.

I also saw POTC 3 and didn't like it so much. I enjoyed first and second parts, and I thought Depp was fabulous in the second part especially but in this episode his humour seems to be gone. Still a good, not very profound entertainment and I will most probably go and see POTC 4 too.

yeah, i'm a rather lucky girl. :] and, since none of my friends can drive yet and i'm almost ready to take my test, i'm kinda popular. :p ( ... )

is it difficult to pass a driving test where you live? in here, it usually takes more than one time to pass - instructors and local driving schools are earning lots of money that way, corruption that cannot be fighted :( anyway, I hope it is not a case in your country!

that's quite nice to be the first one able to drive among your friends :)

I agree POTC plot was very confusing. For a person who haven't seen previous versions shortly before it was almost impossible to follow and grasp a story fully... I have no idea about Orlando's and Keira's apperance in the next parts. What you predict might be true, I'm afraid - the ending of a third part didn't really involve those two. I hope they wouldn't totally destroy the story... Second part was good, and I hoped for the third one to be equally funny but I was disappointed. So I'm quite afraid of what will become of the next one.
Like with Matrix - the "One" was genuine, and if they left it like that, it could be named SF masterpiece. But Matrix 2 & 3 - no comments.

i don't really know, to be honest. my two cousins have both failed their tests numerous times now, but i don't know if that's because of the system or their driving. :p lessons are expensive enough, though. i have to pay £44.90 / / €66,18 per weeek; so i need to take my test soon!

yeah, it is. :]

i really hope disney just leave potc alone. like you say, the matrix was ruined. most sequels aren't as good as their originals. the only exceptions being harry potter and the bond films.
