Thanks, mate. Update is that she may have suffered a mini-stroke. Or it could be some kind of mental illness. To be honest, they can't be sure yet.

It wasn't a great day for them (it was one of my Mum's worst days so far) but it is a massive achievement, it's hard to even contemplate the amount of time, love and effort invested into 50 years with anyone, isn't it?

Having both is probably worse, ha! She is already on a variety of medication for a number of things, so they need to be sure exactly what has gone on before prescribing anything else.

Yep, I'd be 79 and Toni 78, if we make it to our 50th! Hope so and I hope you guys are together that long too!
