What an emotional roller coaster of a piece. As you alluded to, there is good in the world despite all the despair and hardship that occurs. Goes to show how Rugby League and sport in general can come together and do so much good in the face of human tragedy. And as I write this on the 30th anniversary of the Bradford fire, I was thinking, yes we moan about sanitised and sterile atmospheres at modern stadia (I always moan about this, being a Man City fan obviously), but thank god everyone today goes to sports events and come home safely.

Talking about light at the end of the tunnel, even though you can fit all remaining Lib Dem MPs in your flat, membership has now gone up by about 5000 I believe, I may even do the same! Norman Lamb for the next leader! Time to turn Hazel Grove yellow again!

It surely does. Yes, it's also good that stadia are no longer made out of wood but they could still have atmospheric terraces that are safe (however that's a separate issue.) It is a positive though that supporters aren't treated like cattle, when it comes to safety any more.

Agreed, also people are joining the Electoral Reform Commission in an attempt to amend the system that is so crooked.

Someone said that the UK in 2015 is a similar position to 1992, so in 5 years' time, we can expect a Labour landslide..! Hopefully, 2020 will be an election of vast change, whatever happens.

Yeah, it's a massive clusterfuck, and it's going to get worse. The Tories are rolling on with their plan to redrawn the constituency boundaries, which would make it even harder for any other party to get a majority in any future election under the current voting system. Basically they've barricaded the door and they're not letting anybody else back in.

As much as I detest Farage and the rest of the UKIP titflaps, the fact that they drew almost 4m votes and only ended up with 1 seat is a joke. In a country that prides itself on it's democracy, that's desperately unfair. Although I suppose that sets the scene for the next five years. Or longer, probably.

I saw that Danny Jones thing, it's desperately tragic. I agree, it's comforting to know that there are people who do care about others around.

Yes, that tends to happen when either party get into power, I'd get rid of bollocks like constituency boundaries by bringing in PR, but that's another argument... They don't have a massive majority, the irritating thing is that even with 12, they can push through nonsense like this.

I completely agree, that's why if he has half a brain, they will aim for PR and with his big mouth, they will get some attention for changing the rules. 3.8 million people is a lot of people to make aware of the unfairness. Even if they are mostly racist idiots...
