My current worry is that she seems to be overlooking the fact that, in addition to the Adobe Acrobat's moves, church-based teleportation and Garuda's blades, this alien now has a bit of her...and she still hasn't told Mebby about her little healing feat back there.
Were this a traditional story, her next encounter would feature one of two scenarios:
- She and Mebby defeat the alien, but it uses her healing to escape, and everyone learns a lesson about trusting your friends / thinking things through / whatever. - She and Mebby don't defeat the alien, because it uses a new and heretofore not seen power which acts as foreshadowing to some awesome power she will figure out how to use in the figure.
But this isn't a very traditional story, so I wait in suspense for what happens next.
