He seemed to think Lady Gaga is misunderstood and that I just haven't seen the right videos. Meh. I'm just bothered by people who need people to like the things they like.

Perhaps I'm too vocal about the things I dislike. One of my roommates frequently gets bent out of shape when I say I don't like something. He's afraid I'm going to offend someone. I just tell him if my opinion is such a threat to others the problem isn't me but the strength of their convictions. :\

I don't think I've ever had a fuzzy navel. I finally got around to buying some Root though, looking forward to trying it. And a Frangelico gift set with two tiny little Frangelico muglets... it was cheaper than the 750ml by itself. It was too good a deal to ignore, the recession has really sharpened my savvy saving skills. Try saying that with a lateral lisp!

To be honest it is not as good as I remember it for the reason you described but it's sort of the liquor cabinet equivalent of the baguette in the grocery bag in a movie.

I have extra Chambord... someone gave me some for my birthday this year and I've barely dipped into the bottle I bought in '06. I'm set for a while unless my habits change.

From what I read making limoncello is pretty easy. I've had it (not homemade) and found it a little overbearing, sort of tasted like the way a lemon marker smells. I'd like to try making orangecello which must be possible since they sell it at the liquor store. I also want to make Patxaran which is a Navarran concoction of anisette with sloe berries and vanilla/spices.

Root is the product of some sort of hipstery outfit in Philadelphia called Art In The Age of Mechanical Reproduction. I can't explain it very well other than it's the same spices that root beer/root tea was made of in olden times. This might explain it better...
