Without a lot of discussion in the media, a century-old Supreme Court decision may be going down in flames. The Dr. Miles decision is under review, and may fall under the Roberts court. Dr. Miles probably made sense back in 1911. I mean, consider back then how fragmented the retail arena was. No WalMart or Kmart, and every town of any size had their very own independent department store. Today, not so much.

It's not clear to me what overturning Miles would do to the publishing industry, but then they tend to march to their own drummer anyway.
