What is the average number of deaths from the flu versus Covid in 2020 for a normal year?
I have heard of wanting deaths reported as Covid (even though that was not the case) because of insurance payments.

I've also heard that healthcare providers get a higher payment for reporting a death as "from COVID" even if the patient was dying of cancer--or died in a car accident. That's another vexing issue, and one you won't read much about in the media. My rule-of-thumb is that 10% - 15% of deaths attributed to COVID because of a positive test on the corpse actually died of something else. So was it COVID or cancer? That's a hard question. I'm not sure what's to be done to make it right.
