So . . . you had a curiosity itch about the new little board, so you bought yet another gizmo to check, that cost more than the board you wondered about.
What's that line in Blues Brothers about having traded the old Bluesmobile for a microphone? "OK, that's reasonable."?

A ham radio op and electronics guy par excellance told me long, long ago: "Put your big money in test equipment." I have an oscilloscope that costs way more than all but a handful of the radios I've poked with it. (All but one, now that I think about it.)

The RPi suggests an opportunity for tech books. Its cost was never the big draw.
