That barista is straight up weird. I donno, maybe you're just way hotter than I am? But even when I was super skinny, nobody ever upgraded my drink size, and if people were nicer to me, I've never noticed.
Hmm, I don't know. Maybe I'm imagining it, but I'm pretty sure people are a lot nicer to me now. People are usually pretty good about holding doors in NYC, but now I notice more of the dramatic Opening the Door Wide And Standing Back to Let Me Go First kind of thing.
