I'm glad to hear that things are getting settled as you start the orientation process. I know what you mean about hitting the ground running, but I think you'll be happy you had these few days in hindsight. Nothing more stressful than trying to get a household in order while flooding your brain with anticipation of things to come. I'll be there in a little under 2 weeks, so I might be singing a different tune then, but we'll see!
I kind of wish I could have seen these kids with the shopping cart. Have to admit that my imagination has run a little wild with that one, but I'm sure it was nothing like what happened in my head. You know me and my love of crazy stories. :P
Anyways, glad to hear things are going well, you're ready for orientation and all that, and you have a good roomie all things considered! You'll do us all proud!
