"See you later, Oafy-Wan!" Bruck Chun said with a derisive chuckle.
Siri Tachi kept the smirk on her face, but inside she felt pity for Obi-Wan Kenobi. She wished she could just kick Bruck in the head and tell Obi-Wan that Bruck was an idiot, but no. She couldn't. Bruck had helped her once, when they were younger, and he was always reminding her of the fact that she owed him.
...Bruck was still an idiot.
She sighed inwardly at the barely masked fury in Obi-Wan's being, as Bruck and his clique moved on down the hall, brushing roughly past a seething Kenobi. Still smirking, she caught his eye as she walked by, trying to convey in a glance what she wanted to say.
She didn't have time, as Obi-Wan looked away, denying her the only means of communication open to her.
A furious blush enflamed her cheeks as she abruptly turned her gaze forward, her smirk hardening into a tight, thin line.
Fine, Kenobi. Be that way. If you want to believe we're like him, then it's your loss.
