Show of hands. How many didn't think "Borg ship"\//// = raised hand. Someone else mentioned 'Close Encounters' and that did not spring to mind, but maybe would have later. I enjoyed the cosmic nature of this episode. It was fantastic to see the figure of Qui, and of Shmi.
I like your idea of Jedi history buffs being more knowledgeable of this Force-wielder thing than run-of-the-mill Jedi. I would like to know more about 'average' Jedi, since we get the big guns, a la Kenobi, Skywalker, Aayla etc. Weren't there any second-string Jedi?
I agree. There had to be the "common" jedi. I mean, it's really not all that plausible that everything happens to a certain group of people. I would love to see what the "regular" jedi are like.
I admit to being more a Q/O fan, so I take things as they come I guess in SW. I still don't know (for sure) if Qui is a vision or really Qui (Force ghost) So I'm curious to see how this goes. As for Ahsoka, I always thought she was the Jedi that they show being shot to death in ep III. (a horrible scene) It would fit when her older vision tells her that she will have no future if she remains Anakin's student. Anyway, this new arch in CW has definitely excited fans and I guess confused some too. I'm more excited-- for Qui-Gon (and Liam) But in general, I thought the ep was very well done. I'm hoping I'll be less confused as it goes forward and more things are made clearer. xx
I never thought of this! But it certainly could be anything at this point! Thanks for letting me know the gal in Ep III was not Ahsoka. Shows what I think I know. oy to me. lol xx
I think it was supposed to be a vision or Obi-Wan just believes it is. Not really sure. Either way i was fine with it. ^^
I think that jedi was supposed to be Shaak Ti. The one whom they can't decide to kill off or not. I think Ahsoka would have only been in her early late teens/20's at the time of Anakin's fall. Wookiepedia has her species only living to about 94, but i think she still would have been to young to be that jedi. Be an interesting twist though. ^^
