The soldier showed no sign that any of this was strange to her. Her face was as icy and unreadable as this planet was to her. Yet Jaina had chosen to make a home here in the harsh environment.
The tall-blue skinned aliens regarded her with suspicion and she returned it. Their appearance didn't bother her, but she got the feeling she wasn't welcome here at all.

It's amazing just how fast she's been getting used to the stares and looks. Now that the war with the Killiks is starting to fade into the past, it's becoming easier - however slightly - to be a member of this society.

"I've been on planets like this before. Chiana usually causes fights." The memory only served to make her grimmer, eyes darkening to an overcast blue.
Jaina might find it easier with a can of blue spray paint, not that Aeryn would point that out. She's thinking it though. With her breeding, where she grew up, it was still easy to mock any non-sebaceans.

She finally stops in front of a small door, which is clearly just a smaller part of a longer stretched hangar door. There's a small plaque with a number and a couple of words written in Cheunh and in Basic. It really doesn't look like much on the outside - just a door in a rock wall.
Jaina hugs her poncho closer. Even with the temperature controlled environment, it's still a bit too chilly for her tastes.
"Well, this is it. Home."
