Why are my parents so strict and critical when it comes to me? They tell me that they are gonna get me a car and let me get my license so that I can get a job. Well, they never have. When I asked them about it, they would say that they would get me a car as soon as I got a job. That's what they kept saying, even though I was turned down for jobs ( Read more... )

I'm only washing dishes for now. And my dad said that it is like a micro-Bronco. It's very small from what he says, so it probably shouldn't be too much for gas. I figured out that fighting with my parents never works, but I guess I never really know it.

So this is the thing...i dislike your parents...one because they dont really like the whole you and me thing....second because they are like this to you...i hate seeing you like this..i seen you earlier before band practice and you were soo happy and then i talk to you after and you are basically in tears...you have no idea how much it hurts me to know that i cant just come and hold you and let you cry in my arms...i soo wish that i could do that...i love you soo much...ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT!!! One day you wont have them..it will be me and i promise you that i will never be how they are to you...i will be loving and everything you have ever wanted and more...i love you my benjamin

You graduate in a few months, nows the time to get out.

Parents always do that kinda junk, they suck.
Dont worry about your sister, my family did that with My sister. She is now pregnant to her Army boyfriend, while I am at school in Boca and getting jack.

Dont worry, things work out...they always do. :)

I know things will work out. All I have to do is have faith that it will, and work hard to make it happen. Thanks for being awesome :)

I try and stay humble, but Lord knows it's hard.

parents will always "look out for whats best" even though they are most likely trying to bring you up the same way they were brought up.
Sadly, this isnt the 50's anymore...and they dont really understand that.

Good luck and god speed

She keeps saying how I'm not gonna like it there, how I'm gonna be there for a week before I can't stand it anymore. And yet, every day she tells me I need a job, any job.
...
For the past, I dunno, two months, I've done ALL of the laundry...If I go a day without doing any, I get yelled at, while Amber does nothing and is praised. My mom pushed me to drop the IB program since the spring semester of my freshman year. I finally did, and now she acts like I'm some delinquient who does nothing in school ( ... )
