Me: "Footlong, Italian herbs and cheese, ham and American cheese."

Employee: "Alright........Heated or toasted?"

Me: "Just the way it is, thanks."

Employee: "You're a douchebag.......what would you like on it?"

People tend to have a bad reaction to nonchalance. It can often be taken as elitism, so the guy was probably trying to get some kind of reaction from you.

You are welcomed to write a complaint on him. They should have those comment cards somewhere in the room.

Not a big deal. He's told me for several weeks I should attempt a different accent because I sound like a pompous prick when I talk normal.
