So, I got a nice surprise today. I got the new Dresden Files book 3 days early. I'm about 3/4 of the way through it and it is *excellent*. Heart breaking, painful, funny, exciting...all those things.
( Two fairly minor points that I love... )

I'm studiously not looking at anything you're written about the book, but damn, am I jealous. I know mine's been posted, but I obviously won't be getting it until after Easter.

Bugger.

But, hey, I have somethink that is definitely good to read next week.

This is the positive spin I have to give myself so I don't cry *g*

Aww! The points that I posted are fairly minor, but feel free to ignore them, I can understand wanting to wait for the book

It's not really the possible spoilery nature what you may have said, it's more that if I read anything about the book I'm going to want it RIGHT THIS SECOND and since that isn't going to happen, I'm ignoring everything and anything about the book.

But I am delighted to hear that it's good. Well, better than good. Although that does make me want it more.

It is good, really good (I havent read much more as I've been watching Doctor Who) but it's also utterly heartbreaking. The number of times I've said 'oh Harry. Poor, poor Harry' today is pretty amazing.
