This disgusts me on so many levels. It disgusts me as an activist. It disgusts me as a girl who's dealt with depression. It disgusts me as a sister. It disgusts me as a survivor. And more importantly, it disgusts me as a human being. Why would you WANT to deny coverage? You can talk all you like about 'health care insurance is a business', but eliminate the 'insurance' and 'health care' comes down to a basic human right. For Christ's sake, even dogs lick each other's wounds.

This is about par for the course w/mental health treatment. My own insurance company limits us to ten visits a year to a mental health professional (psychiatrist) for my youngest daughter, who has severe psychotic symptoms. Of course, we pay out of pocket but, well, that leads to stuff like massive credit card debt.

My eldest daughter found this link. She ordered me to pimp and retweet it. People should know.
