I don't think Arnold is bluffing. He has never given any care for the poor, and his approval ratings are terrible right now- I figure he's probably planning on ramming through the budget legislation he wants and seeing that the appropriate businesses that "need" subsidizing get theirs, and him, his kickbacks.

After things go to shit, then there's a prefect excuse for the prison industry to score big...

Given that the state cannot declare bankruptcy, the next logical thing would be to consider secession.

Then, maybe we might qualify for foreign aid!

You may be kidding but in November 2009, Michael Genest, director of the California Department of Finance, told The Wall Street Journal that he “literally looked at the federal Constitution to see if there was a way for states to return to territory status.”

i feel if people who are on welfare and in home support need to be drug tested i would in a heart beat if asked to do . to prove that i am not on drugs a nurse friend of mine went down to apply for helping me i have ms. and the people she saw looked like druggies themselves so if the governor wants to knock off welfare and the inhome support start by doing this.. have people drug tested if they are on drugs take them off the system..my 2 cents
