I'm finally getting caught up on posting Chad's reviews on the Atlanta Gallifreyans' website (and again I say "finally"!!!). So I'm a bit late on commenting on this review, but here goes:
"William Hartnell is superb throughout"
Absolutely correct. My favourite Hartnell scene from his entire three years on the show is the show-down with the Daleks, where he's dictating his terms for the release of the prisoners. Definitely the most commanding and forceful the 1st Doctor ever gets. This entire production (well, minus the Christmas episode, but more on that later) is absolutely top-notch. When you watch the reconstruction all the way through, its just amazing how fast the story moves and just how much stuff happens. Its funny that there are (many) 4-parters that seem really padded, and here we have 11 episodes that are just bursting at the seams. It is an absolute joy to watch.
"Kevin Stoney, however, steals the show" / "Special mention must also be made of Maurice Browning"Stoney is an absolute revelation, and how utterly

Thanks so much for replying, Alan! Wonderful observations!
Imagine dropping "Dimensions in Time" halfway between "The Curse of Fenric"... That's what the Christmas episode is like - quite literally sticking out like a sore thumb in a glorious story.
Many thanks for updating the site! It looks gorgeous :: hugs ::
