My friends definitely fall into two categories: those who loved Square One, and those who have never heard of it. I don't think I know anyone who knows of the show but doesn't like it...

Ditto -- I remembered it as a great show. I especially liked the rare occasions when PBS would air an entire Mathnet case, normally spread out over a week's worth of Square One episodes, in a single continuous block.
