OOooh I loved this! Very well written and god, House is so House here. I can totally see this happening. And I loved the femslash. Gorgeously done.

Thank you! *huge sigh of relief* I'm so glad it worked for somebody who has written femslash and is more comfortable in that corner of fandom than I am. You have no idea how happy I am to hear that you liked it. *hugs you*

Sorry. I know I said I'd read this but only now have a proper moment to properly comment. Can I just echo the above who have said how very Housey this House is: unfluffy, unsparing, angry, raw,a total MCP, yet terribly self-aware, diagnosing his reactions as much as having them. I like how you keep dangling before him what he thinks he wants and is in control of and then snatching it away. The contrasts and continuities between Stacy/House and Stacy/Cuddy and the halting breath climax were dead on - the shouting out the name is such a fic cliche IMO , and turning the lame male porn fantasy of "making her scream" on its head was a clever and character-pinpointing connection.

Just excellent! Well done, you.

Ooh. I pretty much just love everything about this. I love the spin on the prompt, how it's supposed to be about him, but it isn't, and how House isn't the only injured party here. But what I really love is the characterisation - your House voice never falters for a second, and it is so clearly the House of that time, just after the infarction, in transition towards being the House we know today. I'm so glad I got to read this, thanks.
