So here’s the thing, my B5 rewatch has continued but as expected a reached a point where I no longer felt like doing reviews and just wanted to watch the show. And I think being back in that world has sapped a lot of my energy for the TVD/TO verse. Finally watched!

It was weird the statement he only fell in love twice in 1000 years, I sometimes think that they just do not think, or think the fans are that stupid and not thinking, either way it's bad writing (I couldn't blame Elijah! ;) I know the point of the scene was that Elijah had a conversation with his love without knowing and reminding us that he loves rarely but please, stop ruining his character and rewriting his history to make it fit to your stupid plots and twists. I don't even want to think about who the other supposed love should be - and where does it leave their "epic" developing romance with Hayley (not that I care, I don't want her with him anyway).

And I want Davina back! The girl has grown on me. I would love to see more Davina / Elijah scenes. I liked Marcel in this one.

I am complaining, and am not happy with this episode as usual but I did enjoy.

I had to re-read "To Find a Light In Darkness" to cheer myself up! Please tell me you think about it...:)

That statement really bugs me, and it kind of bugs me most since they're pushing this Elijah/Hayley thing. As a 'thing' I may not like it but I don't hate it; as a THING, where Elijah loves so rarely but he's falling in love with her I will end up hating it badly. Admittedly there's a part of me that takes this as proof that they won't push Elijah/Katherine as a love story and that makes me happy because I have issues with that idea even before trying to make it a once in a blue moon love story. Until proven otherwise I'm still assuming it's Tatia though I'm not sure that's what I actually want the show to commit to since it would also try and make y ship creepy through it even though clearly his relationship with Elena is a rather different animal (hell, NOW his one with Katherine is too even if I do think that in 1492 he was pretty much still thinking about Tatia). But what it implies for how they view Elijah/Hayley bugs me a TON ( ... )
