I only started watching Community a couple weeks ago and haven't watched this one yet. The show isn't what I expected at all. It's been a nice and refreshing surprise.
I don't remember what I expected the show to be, I started watching pretty much when it started, it did surprise me though too as I don;t think I had very high expectations for it at the time. Though it took until the middle of the season for it to become MUST SEE NOW TV, but it definitely got there.
