Mmm, interesting story here! I've read very little of this pairing, never anything quite as... complete feeling as this. For lack of a better description!

Amusing how Asajj doesn't think much of Obi-Wan until he hands her ass to her in battle :)

And then with the Gungans she killed - she feels remorse? I like seeing more to her than the cartoony anger we see on-screen.

Trained in the art of murder, the Jedi claimed they only wanted to end the war, yet the keepers of the peace never hesitated to draw their lightsabers at every opportunity.

Haha, so true! Of course, she neglects to remember that really they're just following orders, as is she. But she sees that for Obi-Wan, victory holds no glee.

I never think of Dooku as foreseeing his own demise. He seems genuinely shocked in RotS when Sidious betrays him. Did you add that based on something in the EU or did you make it up? Just curious :)

Really liked this:

“This is not your fault. None of it is your fault.” His words were barely audible ( ... )

Thank you for reading this I'm glad that you enjoyed it! I admit this was alot trickier to write than I initially thought, at the same time I really enjoyed being able to explore both sides of the story. Or at the very least put a more human face to the caracture we see in the cartoons ( ... )

I figured he wouldn't know about his master's betrayal, only that he would die by Anakin's hands hence his wish to remove him in the tale

Ah, that's a valid assumption. Really, in canon, Dooku should have guessed that Sidious would betray him - DUH! SITH LORD!

You're welcome, thanks for taking the time to respond to my ass-long comment! <3
