I love the japor snippet as well, so it appears in pretty much every Anakin/Padmé fic I write. I'm pleased to hear that the connections and the smut worked well for you, since I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how they would maintain those even as he was away at war.

'Doing married things' and sharing the life together, that's what it's all about. I liked her thoughts and using the objects to image herself into arousal, and particularly the way that Anakin surprised her and fed the fantasy.

Indeed, and it's something I don't think we saw enough of in the films. I like writing fics that revolve around canon scenes, of course, but what I really enjoy is delving into the deeper connections that make a relationship. It makes me believe in the particular pairing, of course, but more than that, it's fun!

And, let's face it, I'm an Obi-Wan fangirl through and through, so I had to slip in a teeny-tiny reference to him somewhere. But I quite agree: poor Anakin! *snuggles him*

I love the interaction between the couple in this story. I think, whether the author intended or not, it captures what I think is the basic nature of the Anakin/Padme relationship; that is one based almost entirely on their sexual relationship.

Of course, that makes for some really hot imagery!!!

Thank you! Yes, it's impossible to deny that they look good together, and that there's a lot of sexual chemistry between them. I do tend to think as well that the way Anakin/Padmé was portrayed in the films is largely responsible for any perceived lack of depth, which is partially why I enjoy using fanfic to fill in those blanks.

And the smut doesn't hurt either, hehe. ;)
