Call for help in the DC area

You've probably heard about the riots and protests in Egypt. All non-essential Embassy personnel have been evacuated, but unfortunately, on an ordered departure, pets aren't allowed to give more room for personnel. There are efforts, by those still there, to organize a separate flight for pets, but they need help

thanks! I'm trying to get the information now. It's coming about 4th hand and the person I got it from has gone on radio silence. So as soon as I know who's organizing will contact you.

I'm in the Baltimore area - I don't think I can pet-foster right now, but I can pass the info on to one of the branch chiefs at my work - she's actively involved in animal rescue and would probably be able to get the word out.
