The rains have come!

Unlike Mr. Chris Kane who seems to be done with Portland professionally over the rain, I'm very much welcoming the rains. Why? Because then it's only like 90 instead of the 120. It's still humid as hell but hey these things happen ( Read more... )

I feel his pain. I really, really do. *LOOKS FOR THE SUN AGAIN* We set a record for wettest June, and it's only the 15th.

What did he say?

LOL, he said two things on his twitter and they both made my laugh:

I took my '67 bronco out for the first time in over a yr yesterday. So beautiful and free. Guess what??? IT'S FREAKIN RAINING AGAIN!!! >:@

Btw if it rains in the middle of June on my video. I'm done with this place. I don't mind rain. I'm from Oklahoma. But it's fuckin June!!!!

And then again after his video shoot:

Unbelievable!! Middle of June and it's 51 degrees and raining again. Thanx God for renting us the sun on Sat. Ur the best!!

He's such an awesome dork.

I am so over the rain. I'm pretending it isn't there and wearing my leverage hat in protest.

I do need to find shoes that allow me to walk and not hydroplane on marble. Already almost slid on my ass once and it wasn't even raining.

And yes, you should totally wear your leverage hat in protest! I'd wear my cowboy hat but then people laugh at me. :(

OOH Japan! How awesome! I can't wait to hear about that trip. :D

And a beach sounds wonderful. You've got an enticing section of the world to choose from that's closer than you would have had back home. {drools}

Wait, what? He was just on the radio the other day and made a comment about the rain, but he was laughing. What do you mean he's done professionally?

The "done professionally" is a comment from when Christian Bale had his meltdown on the set of Batman. Apparently he started yelling that he was done professionally with...ok, I'm not sure but all sorts of things. Since then I've used it as a joke of sorts when I'm talking about people being fed up with something. Or conversely I'm fed up with people "I am so done with you professionally!"

Anyway, he's tweeted in May and June that he's sick and tired of the rain, Chris Kane not Christian Bale. He seems to have gotten over it now that it's stopped and gotten warm again. See the above comment I made to lauramcewan on his tweets.

Mostly I'm poking fun is all.
