For the last round of Favorite Clark Scenes With.... I could only come up with 3 more characters. I almost added in Zod, but then I would've felt like I needed to add Davis too, and well, I just decided to leave them both off.

So, this round goes to Kara, Oliver Queen, and Tess Mercer.

ETA:  Thanks to Wingster, who suggested we add Jimmy to this ( Read more... )

Well, thats the thing with the supposed Clark/Oliver friendship. It seems that Oliver reverted back to sniping jerk at the drop of a hat. I don't think I ever felt, for more then 2 eps at a time, that this guy really could be a reliable friend to Clark. Its why I just try to tell myself that Bruce Wayne will be the friend for Clark that Oliver never was.

I do agree with you that the first Clark/Tess scene in Luthor is bothersome. I'm not a fan of it either.

I agree with you that Jimmy is just about the only bright spot in Doomsday, and his scene with Clark is just about the best scene.

Its fun to read everyones opinions on these, but I think I'm a bit surprised at how most of us seem to like the same scenes.

Thanks so much for posting that. :)

Come on, how cute is this scene? Tom's expression just cracks me up. He's all like "WTF is up with this guy?" And Jimmy is just adorably oblivious.

Ring That Bell!

Your choice for Jimmy was my choice too. I like lovable, dorky Jimmy. :-) Poor guy...

I thought about going with a scene that had more gravitas, but I just couldn't shake this one. Its so funny. And Jimmy is just a nice guy. And Clark is a bit freaked out by him. I love it.

My favorite heart-warming moment between Clark & Kara is in Bloodline when Kara is trapped under the rubble and is telling Clark to go home (or whatever) and Clark says, "You are my home."

I do wish they had actually developed Clark & Kara's relationship more. In Season 7, they kept having Kara leave (when she got mad at Clark & then when she was dumped in Detroit) so I don't feel like Clark & Kara could ever really get into a comfortable flow.

There were some cute moments in Fierce when Clark went into parental dad mode and was trying to get Kara to cover up & then when he was teaching her with the watermelon.
I liked any kind of light-hearted banter that they were able to have throughout Kara's stay in Smallville.

I love that other Clark/Kara scene from Bloodline too. I almost went with that one.

Its really a shame how badly Kara was bungled as a character. And as good a job as LV did with it, ultimately, I think bringing her on was a bad idea. The show didn't need it.

I like the watermelon scene from Fierce, but it ends with Kara storming off, and that sort of negatively colored the scene for me.

Tess: For "our" Tess and Clark it'd be the final scene in Luthor. For the AU mix up..the other scenes in Luthor...and purple dress.

Jimmy: I'd say a tie with the scene where Jimmy discovers Clark's the blur (and how easy it was to put 2 and 2 together) and where he says he wouldn't reveal Clark's secret.

Oliver: pass

Kara: End of Bloodline.

I'm not sure "the purple dress" counts as a scene. LOL

Hmmmm, seems I've found a person that dislikes Oliver even more then I do. LOL
