I have come to the realization that I have become one of those people. You know, they type who hangs out on an ontd spinoff comm all the time. A month ago, I would have been horrified by this, but now all I can think of is: it's so awesome. *facepalm

You should watch CoE. It was probably the best TV sci-fi I've seen in years, definitely my favorite show of 2009.

What is Jonathan Creek? You are the second person to mention that recently and now I am curious. (not that I need to know about anything new ahahaha)

Jonathan Creek is a BBC mystery series, starring Alan Davies (of Qi fame, though I don't know if you watch that) and an assortment of female sidekicks. It's not a new series, the series proper stopped airing in, like, 2004, but the past couple of years have seen a couple of specials pop up. Anyway, Alan plays Jonathan, who is a guy who works for a magician and comes up with all of his tricks. Because of his talent for logical thinking and being able to see through tricks and the like, Maddie, a crime writer, starts to draft his help in solving murders and various mysteries. A lot of the mysteries are things like locked-room mysteries, the sort of thing that conventional police can't solve, so Jonathan is brought in to think outside the box. It's a fun show, and if you want to check it out, the whole series is up on Youtube, so no dl-ing necessary!
