Mm, I'd been curious about the guy since I saw him mentioned at Neil Gaiman's blog but... I'd expected someone younger too. o_O
So William Moseley managed to pull off the 'younger-than-i-look' thing, but... mr-i'll-get-sued-for-leaving-my-play looks waaaay too old. And hot. But that's redundant XD
And anyway, wasn't he supposed to be blond? *is rusty in Narnia facts* Then again, Lucy's supposed to be blonde, so...

Oh goodness, well... I suppose you could say it's a good thing I haven't read Narnia in a while. But, I was going to re-read the series before the next movie.

Yeah, I think I saw 2008ish as a possible release date?
On your comment below, I would hate for them to justify this casting with some change to the story. I just don't see the reason why they had to cast such an older actor. I mean really, is it necessary?
Oh, yes. For me, Caspian's total worship of the past and the reign of the Pevensies totally works if he's a lot younger, for it to have made such an impression on him. I wonder if they'll have to put some kind of spin on it now that he's a lot older, especially when he submits to Peter's authority, who now looks younger than him.
I know who you're talking about from Love Actually, Thomas Sangster, but I don't think he was in Finding Neverland, was he? That's ,umm, *checks IMDB* Freddie Highmore?
Anyway, I've just read on F_W that they were looking for someone of Mediterranean looks or descent for Caspian, so that would definitely have excluded Thomas Sangster from the role.
