Class trip to the city today. Hit the SFMOMA first, then lunch, then MOMA again. God, Robert Bechtle's paintings kick so much ass it's not even funny. Go. See it before it ends, if you haven't already. And, errr, are somewhere nearby. you finally understand what i mean by ... RAD/KICKASS/AWESOME bechtle show at the moma! everytime i talk to you.. or talk to melissa about it and you're around... you never seemed to care. 'o gawd, linda's talkin about another art show... >tunes out<... ' ^_-

AHHH NOT TRUE! I just kinda...drift away. In my thoughts. ;) But, yes. I've seen slides of his work before, but, geez, seeing them up-close! Absolutely fantastic.

crazily amazing! i love the one with the man and woman in the kitchen.. from two different pictures... and light sources. ahh, so good. makes me want to paint again... AND photograph!:)

and yeah, seeing any work in real life is just so great. books don't do them justice.. like these pictures at 49 geary. light box pictures. sooooo good. dunno if you had a chance to see them.. if they're still up. but yeah, i have the take-away card. it's not the same.

omg, we're not only having a geeky conversation, but a geeky ART conversation!

OMIGOD YOU KNOW THE NANCY PAINTINGS? SHE WAS THERE!!!!! We were just going along and this woman comes with some people, and she starts gesturing at the painting and talking about everything that was there. AND IT WAS HER! AND WE WERE ALL O_O!!!!

Art is so much better to look at in real life, yes.
