Mum called yesterday to say that it looks as if her dog Mac has bone cancer that has spread to his lungs. He's getting a biopsy from an expert tomorrow to confirm, but if it is certain that it is cancer we will need to put him to sleep so that he's not in pain any more

The vet amputated Mac's leg where the tumor was, so we think now he'll be OK for another year.
