Tutorial | How to Credit

How to credit

Credit for layouts is simple, and can be done one of many ways:

In Your Layout

(layout by palebird)

If the layout you are using comes with a sidebar, you can credit me in the links list.
01. Go to Journal > Journal Style
02. Then click Customize Selected Theme
03. On the sidebar on the left, click Link List
04. Fill in the first blank box with "layout credit." and the second box with the community address: http://jealouss.livejournal.com

Should look like this:

In Your Entries
If you have a "sticky post" or a "credit post" in your journal, that is another good place to put credit. You can use the following code in that entry:

layout credit: @

In Your Profile
This is probably the easiest way, especially since not everyone has a credit post, nor do they always have a sidebar (especially in my layouts), so this is the preferred place of credit.

If you are using a profile layout, typically there will be a few links in it, you can credit me in one of the links with this:

http://jealouss.livejournal.com">layout credit

Or, if you are not using a profile layout, you can simple put this in your profile:

layout credit: @

Those are your 3 ways to credit for layouts, have any questions or concerns? don't hesitate to ask :)
