I actually like that they don't run away together, that kind of bittersweet parting...and then after seven years they're able to reconnect. I loved the thought of Ryo (and the other 8uppery fellows haha) as fighter pilots/mercenaries!

Because afaik Ryo won't be the type that would be straightforward enough to ask her to run away with him. :) I tried to stay as close to RL Ryo as possible and I'm just really glad it panned out. :) Thank you for your kind words!

Ah, I really really enjoyed this. I love how you portrayed the relationship between Ryo/Satomi from being just an assignment, a mission to something more, to the point that when they had to separate, it was sad and painful. And a part of me wanted them to run away together, but the majority is so glad that they didn't because that seven year reunion was PERFECT and I would not want it any other way. I love that she remembered him as a kid, even if she didn't realize it was him, and he obviously did as well and ugh. That is just the cutest. Which is exactly what this is, the absolute cutest.

They are cute indeed! They give me all the first-love-first-kiss feels just because they starred together in that asadora and while I don't ship them, I find that they can really go together fairly well. Awkward and cute, just like how dalampasigan like them ;) Thanks again mod-sama, for being so generous and unsparing in your kind comments (and for my extended deadlines orz)!
