Do you know what happens after the camera stopped rolling? Or on shots that did not get aired?
The men bowed to these women, apologizes if they were too rough throwing them about, thanked them for their hardwork and genuinely smiled at them. Not for the camera, not for the audience but just for them.
Just out of curiosity, may I ask how you know this for certain? ("Oh hi, anonymous female comedian!" ;)
But it's not so much the physical violence that bugs me. Of course they would apologize for that. It's more the constant snipes at her weight or appearance, for which I'm not even sure it would occur to them to apologize. As far as I can tell from my experience in Japan, they have a vastly different idea here of the ways it's acceptable to "tease" a girl. I suppose where I come from, we're hypersensitive to harming someone's self-esteem...
And of course they "thank them for their hardwork", that's just routine.
My friend was at the AnS recording when Nino body-slammed the girl (btw, he threw down both girls). He did apologized and asked if they were hurt. I myself am surprised Nino is not an ass afterall.
A part of a comedic act is to belittle one-self even if the belittling is done by someone else. These women, they know what they are getting themselves into. Japanese humor can be harsh but people do recognized these "ugly" women for their bravery.
It sometimes makes me a bit uneasy too, but then I'm a K8 fan, and K8 get picked on enough about their appearance (Nakai's fat jibes and Yoko and gay jibes about Yasu) *and* about their (past) lack of popularity, so that just seems to be the way it goes.
23. I know they're kidding but it's really not nice. Like that episode of AnS where Nino pushed that female comedian to the floor. I thought, "That's not right." I know it's a joke but it's still rude. If it was a pretty actress or something they are so nice to them.
nino would never do that to a pretty actress, they're always treated like delicate little princesses. female comedians have it harsh, but i still think sometimes the je guys do go too far..
3 - For a second, I had to think about which one wasn't Changmin. D: 6 - ...So, did "fat" never cross your mind? XD 12 - If that's you, I'm going to laugh so hard... XD 14 - Same goes for any corner of the entertainment world - why can't the talented ones sing, too? :/ 17 - I try to make my yellows more like browns, because if you think it hurts you to watch the subs once, think of my poor eyes, watching it over and over to time the video. 21 - No such thing! XD 24 - Koki's probably my favorite in KAT-TUN, and he was even when I still liked them. I don't care much for his wannabe gansta act, though... 26 - LOL So true...
12. Are you thinking YOU is me!??! Ya, I had a shock myself too when i saw this. I was like did I make a secret in my dream?!?! BUT not! unfortunately!!
:D
17. I am guilty of it all the time. Ahaha. but All colors look the same to my eyes.
