How many times do we need this rant?

Lj communities =/= personal livejournalSeriously, if the post contains more about one's own experiences and opinion, instead of actually trying to involve the community into a discussion, then that post should not be posted to a community ( Read more... )

No, even a forum is a public place. They would get kicked out of my forum faster than they could spell lyk. :)

Lol yeah same w/ mine. Buuuut that's a specific section, right? If they did that in the wrong section, it would get axed. D: Because people can't have personal forums like they have livejournals, the "special members random chat area" of forums is usually the same as a private journal.

LOL, I totally thought she was under fifteen and wanted to appeal to everyone to be patient with her, but then I looked at her profile and she's turning twenty this year. XD No excuse left!

I also seriously puzzled over what "k...gtg...kattun" meant - until I realized that, no, she is not artistically stuttering, it's netspeak. (Yeah, I know, I'm slow - but English isn't my mothertongue, so whenever it comes to netspeak, I always need some time to decipher the text.)

i no i tryd 2 gib an exzample but failed cuz it was 2 hard. :(

Like, I don't mind if they post about themselves a little if most of the post is on topic. The example given there? Massive fail. They didn't even try to encourage discussion.
