That being said, I was super stoked when I saw I got a space travel AU, and the fic did not disappoint at all! I absolutely adore your world building in this fic. I love that it has a bit of a Star Trek vibe with the color-coded shirts, but it's still very much it's own thing. I love the idea of space cruises and the way worked it into this. The murder-mystery aspect was also really engaging and the pacing was great. Your Massu-voice was spot-on, too, and it and all the interaction between all the NEWS boys made this fic a great read.
I also loved the cameos from Maru, Yasu, Yoko and Tsubasa! And you even worked in a Maruyama and Shige EVA joke!!! Ah, anon, you managed to sense my love of Maru and Shige's nerdy fanboy tendencies, and I love you for it. <3 Oh, and also for the crossdressing and planet names because both of those were brilliant touches. I love so many things about this! From beginning with the creepy organ donors to Tegoshi the Space Marshal who doesn't eat for a reason(!) and is actually really great at his job because refusing to do something for Tegoshi is usually more trouble than simply doing what he wants. The murder and how Shige finds the bug and they do all their brainstorming and rag-tag piecing together of the clues (or, okay, Shige does most of the work but the others help) in the bath. Koyama and his sweets! The clones and how delightfully creepy the payoff is when Massu finally takes a peek. The way Massu running around the ship with clone!Tego reminds me of the old Onigokko games. How the clone!standoff ended with an Evangelion question. The satisfying book-em conclusion to the mystery of the JS Corp. Placid, and, of course, ( ... )
