Anon I was going to leave you a comment full of keysmashing, but I find myself extremely calm at the moment so I'll save you. Instead I would just like to say that this is one of the most creative, well-written, well-plotted, well-characterized fic I have ever read. Your dialogue is spot on, every single detail in plot or characterization realistic and charming and perfect, and just. THIS PLOT. THIS WORLD. THIS CASTING. Anon, I envy your ability to keep us on the edge. The final scene had me a mess and the scenes in each mind had me "dfkgjdfkgndfkgjf!!" (oh, there's the keysmash). Ryo being blind, in the way that his body holds on to everything, the visual of he and Yasu wandering the city holding hands, everything fading from Yasu too quickly... Yasu's personality demanding that he stay with Maru, in the end, Ryo paying to keep Maru alive and guessing what Yasu's dreamscape looks like and and and daklgjndfkgkldfjgd ahhhhhhh anon. This fic is beautiful and amazing and here, have my love. ;__________________;

I think this fic became one of my favourites. Other than the world and all the worlds of the patients (that were wonderful) or the plot (that was well told and incredibly sad but not really), I also liked the theme, how it had my favourite Johnny's - Ryo, Yasu and Massu - and I absolutely loved all the characterizations. The characters (especially the main ones) all fit so well in this AU world: the world seems to deepen the characters and not just take the jpop world away and put something else there instead. I felt like my heart broke a little every time I learned something new about the characters that was just so IC for them but had a different reasoning behind. Some details, the ones I wasn't so sure of how they fit the characters, made me want to watch the people more closely from now on to check if they really do fit them. Just because so many details fit so perfectly

There're a few things which gave you away:
1. The notes. Explaining about the difference of comma and vegetative state sounds like something you'd do
2. The whole tone of your fic sounds like you too. Remember when I told you that I could recognize your entry just from the title? XD
3. Weeeelll there's too much Maru in this fic for you not to read and commented on it!

Does anyone else realize that this is yours? I probably read too much of your writings to recognize it from slight reading :DDD

I really don't think I have words for just how amazing this is. The basic idea and the world you've built are brilliant and the entire thing is incredibly well-written. Your characterization for everyone was spot-on (I especially loved Yasu and Yoko) and I thought the mindscapes suited each patient perfectly and were really well crafted.

I feel like I could read this a dozen more times and probably still pick up on things I'd missed with all the layers it has. I especially love that you've managed to fit in so many characters, but they all have an important place in the story and no one seems shoehorned in (except Peter).

;_; This was amazing! I love how the mindscapes fit the owners, I love how Ryo's blind in those landscapes, I love how emotionally charged this is. And UGH I think I'm gonna cry because of the ending TT^TT
