Nino's surly and rude attitude is the complete opposite of any customer service experience I have had in visits to Japan. So the fact that he gets away with this just kept cracking me up. I also enjoy that the cafe's regulars (and his supervisor of course LOL) just don't seem to mind it :)

I loved Nino's exaggerated feelings whenever his precious angel came into the store. The bit where he heard the music swelling in time with her arrival, only to realize it was just a CD was hilarious. I also loved his various fantasies about getting the girl.

I also liked that she was the one to finally broach the topic herself, leaving our lovelorn Nino speechless. This was fun :)

Let’s be honest, there’s no way Nino wouldn’t get fired on the spot with that kind of attitude but I’ve decided to ignore it for the sake of the story. In retrospect, maybe I’ve watched too much 2 Broke Girls…

As Yuriko only has a "supporting role" in this fanfic, it would have felt wrong to have her waiting for Nino making a move. Plus, she'd probably still be waiting...

I really enjoyed reading this. Nino's snark is perfect in his interactions with the other members and as a guard for his overwhelming infactuation with Yuriko.
