Lovely!!! Reiko's distress at trying to corner Kageyama into a confession, and Kageyama still so properly correct... and so HAWT! LOL. Kudos to the writer for this wonderful fic!
What's so perfect is that you don't sacrifice who the characters are to make them work. It would be so easy to nudge Kageyama where you need him to be for the ~romance~ to blossom, but instead he is completely Kageyama through and through to the very end. Same with Reiko! I never felt like she was venturing too far from herself. They worked as they were and that was special. ♥
I haven't seen the movie yet either so XD But I'm just really pleased to imagine things going this way. It wasn't necessarily difficult to see that Reiko was going to understand her feelings by the end of the story, it wasn't full of plot twists, but I still felt like I was reading this with a lot of anticipation. Very satisfactory ending. I was grinning like crazy.
Hurray, I am so happy the characterization worked. All of my previous Nazodi stories were mostly excuses to write porn so I had to take a step back in this one and think a bit harder about how they'd behave :)
I can't wait to see the movie and see if it provides some more inspiration. Thank you!
yesssssssss jealous kageyama and vain as always reiko! i really enjoyed the uncommon storyline in which the guy her parents try to set her up with actually isn't skeezy nor a crook. and her family helps him out in the end! a christmas miracle for them for sure. <3 and naturally reiko always gets what she wants, but i love that her comfort and trust are the main drivers behind her feelings. as far as kageyama, actually breaking propriety to kiss her shows his feelings are worlds beyond a mere crush. such a lovely story! <3
I somehow managed to write these two and NOT write porn. Feels almost strange LMAO.
I wanted to do the 'love triangle' plot that wasn't actually a love triangle. It would have been much easier to make him evil when that wouldn't necessarily be a nice Christmas plot LOL. Thanks!
